About Camino Camper
Engineering and Design Heritage
Camino Camper is the result of over a decade of international overland travel and industrial design. Founded by Alex Leitner, the company engineers high-clearance vehicles specifically for the pickup platform. Originally developed through exploration in South America, we are now based in Spain, operating as a family-run business prioritizing small-batch production and direct client collaboration.
Design Philosophy
Our units utilize hybrid composite construction paired with premium components. We focus on lightweight, robust demountable campers that preserve the original handling of small and midsize 4×4 pickups. This technical approach ensures each build is executed with precision and tailored to the traveler’s specific expedition requirements.
